Discover new places around Egypt. These are mostly on-road trips and do not require any off-road driving (possibly some gravel roads or tracks).
From 1967 to 1973, the Israeli army used this site as a firing and rocket launching base during their occupation of Sinai and the campaign to disrupt the Suez region. Egyptian soldiers now serve as guides, offering access to the trenches used for bombing Suez. The rocket launchers remain in their original positions, and the visitor center showcases Israeli and American military equipment, along with personal items from Israeli soldiers, all for a small entrance fee.
